12 Unfamiliar Text Practice

Practice Task (complete the written text questions only - ignore the advertising text)

Marking Schedule (model answers)

• Practice writing answers in timed conditions. Give yourself 20min per text.
• Answers should include your answer to the question (funny that!), examples/quotes from the text that back your answer up, and the names of the techniques the author has used.
• Typically a good answer is at least 2/3 of a page long!!

Thanks for those of you emailing practice essays. They're looking great! Keep sending them in.
